Challenge

The Tim Tam had the most social mentions of any food brand in Australia and held a special place in consumers' hearts, yet was failing to keep up in a competitive chocolate category.

Solution

Our data analysis revealed that Tim Tam's Slam phenomenon drove 250% more reach than any other Tim Tam content but only had 16% awareness. We created a social-first omni-channel campaign, with daily optimization using a custom-built machine learning algorithm to analyze the most “viral” elements of up to 30,000 Tim Tam Slam social photos and videos data points per day to help spread the word to over 14 million biscuit-loving Aussies. In doing so we helped one of Australia’s most loved CPG brands foster higher value connections, ready for conversion.
